Last Page before AWE
Yep, so maybe some of you were wondering why there was an oak tree in the desert. Well, you're going to have to wonder a bit more, because I'm not going to reveal that until quite a ways into the story. But I drew one crazy-ass tree, I tell ya.
Anyway, I will not be able to update until April 8 or 9, because I will be in Death Valley for three weeks, doing hands on research for my comic about desert conditions. No, really, that's how realistic I want my comic to be. Hence a Californian native tree in the Arabian Desert.
But don't fret too much, (well maybe a little, because that'd make me happy). Daidaishar will be taking over my site and post some of my own filler art and perhaps a bit of Dai's own gag comics.
I'll miss you all! Wish me luck! And goodnight!

I love it! The tree looks really cool! I also love the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th panels! However, the background in the 2nd caused problems for me. I don't know why exactly, probably because it is too close of color and texture to everyhting else in the panel, but it just looks bad. It does make me sad tough, that you will be gone for like 4 weeks or whatever, and during SPRING BREAK! Think about all that drawing and updating time wasted...

ah, so Hannible didn't eat the page. Good thing too, since I think that this is my favorite one so far.
so yes, you will all be at my mercy...I mean have the pleasure of enjoying my company while Cerise is gone. and don't worry, I went on the same trip last year and came out alright...although two of my group-mates got e-vaced.

Cerise, I think this page is your best yet! Hadiya is prettypretty. And Ilike how the wires show up as white lines in the 1st panel. One thing, you said ment for meant...

OI! You really do that? Cuz I dont. Never been to a cock fight or a cave and yet I do the best I can. Well to each their own.
The tree kicks ass. You musta been staring at one when you drew it.

re Red: Yeah, I was thinking that panel was a little out of place. I might adjust the contrast of that panel later. And I'm sad too! I can't do comics over that wasted drawing time. But I am taking a sketch pad, so maybe I'll be able to come up with new characters or story ideas or something while I'm there.

re TKBG_Cocker: Naw, I'm not actually going into the desert to research my comic. XD I have to go because it's a school thing, but hey, maybe I'll get ideas.
No, I wasn't really looking at a tree when I drew it. There were similiar trees around, but this came from no specific tree.
